
Peter Pogose - Chairman
As Chairman, Trustee & Great Great Grandson (one of 4 in the UK), Peter represents all the descendants of Nicholas Peter Pogose, honouring his legacy of education, civic service, and community leadership in Bangladesh. Peter's role is to guide the foundation’s vision, forge meaningful partnerships, and ensure our work inspires the next generation through opportunity, dignity, and heritage.
A visit in 2014 to the 168th anniversary of the Pogose School and visitng the Armenian Church, had a deep impact on his heart - he knew that one day, he would return.

Md Aziz-Ur Rahman - CEO
Aziz serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Nicholas Pogose Foundation, playing a pivotal role in advancing its mission across Bangladesh and beyond. With a deep commitment to projects in Bangladesh - he is currently a dedicated Patron of Oxfam GB. As the former Director General of the British Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Aziz strengthens and supercharges our ties with the global Bangladeshi diaspora. He engages supporters, and builds bridges that connect resources, knowledge, and unique opportunity.
Aziz received the Honorary Doctorate from Oxford Brooks University in 2008 for his contributions to hospitality industry & philanthropy work

Prof. Syed Mizanur Rahman PhD.
Syed serves as the Honorable Country Director of the Nicholas Pogose Foundation in Bangladesh. A respected academic leader and social thinker, Professor Rahman plays a key role in anchoring the Foundation’s vision on the ground—securing the Bangladesh end of our global bridge. Through his powerful national network & unwavering commitment to ethical leadership, he drives our local initiatives.

Lee Atkins - Growth & Innovation
Lee Atkins is a strategic advisor and seasoned business leader, serving as a Trustee of the Nicholas Pogose Foundation with a focus on Growth and Innovation. Valerie Taylor CBE - Patron
We are delighted to welcome Valerie Taylor OBE as a Patron of the Nicholas Pogose Foundation.
Valerie has devoted over five decades to transforming the lives of people with disabilities in Bangladesh. As the founder of the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), her work has brought hope, dignity, and opportunity to thousands. Recognised with the Independence Day Award and honoured as an Officer of the British Empire, her impact is truly global.

Golam Moshi - Adviser
Golam Moshi, former Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, joins the Nicholas Pogose Foundation as a Advisor, bringing with him a lifetime of distinguished public service and diplomacy. Known for his deep commitment to the people of Bangladesh—both at home and across the global diaspora—Mr. Moshi has dedicated his career to building bridges, fostering opportunity, and championing the welfare of others.

Sam Pogose serves as a vital pillar in the Nicholas Pogose Foundation’s mission to build a meaningful bridge between young people and the future they deserve. Positioned as one end of the Volunteer Bridge, Sam’s role is to actively listen, engage, and advocate for the real needs and aspirations of youth—especially those often unheard. His work ensures that the Foundation’s direction remains grounded in authenticity and relevance.
Working closely with Onnaraju—his counterpart embedded on the ground—Sam embodies the Foundation’s commitment to two-way communication, understanding, and relational leadership. The two share a unique and growing bond, built on mutual respect and a shared belief in the power of young people to shape lasting change.

Onnaraju - Youth Connector BD
Syed Neeraj Rahman Onnoraju is the Bangladeshi Youth Volunteer for the Nicholas Pogose Foundation. He also works as an IELTS instructor, helping students improve their English that includes listening , writing ,reading and speaking. He believes that the world is a global village and English is a must for anyone to be a part of this global village. Onnoraju’s main goal is to support young people in Bangladesh—especially those who don’t always get a chance to be heard.
He works closely with Sam Pogose in the UK, and together they build a strong connection between young people from different parts of the world. Onnoraju listens to the needs of youth, shares their ideas, and helps create a better future by focusing on education, communication, and personal growth. Through his work, he hopes to inspire confidence, improve English skills, and open doors for young people to achieve their dreams.
