The Nicholas Pogose Foundation is dedicated to inspiring young people in Bangladesh by creating & delivering meaningful projects in education and sports.

The NPF is rooted in a story that began more than 250 years ago in what is now Bangladesh. This is not just the story of a man, Nicholas Peter Pogose —it is the story of a movement. A movement that once sparked a revolution in education, now being rekindled to uplift and inspire a new generation of young people across Bangladesh.

1848 Legacy Reignited

Today, the Nicholas Pogose Foundation seeks to honour this incredible heritage by supporting young people across Bangladesh—offering inspiration within Education and Sport.

We believe that if a single man could help to transform Dhaka’s education landscape in the 1800s, then together—with our global community—we can ignite an even greater movement today.

WHY?

'Nicky' believed education was the most powerful investment in human dignity and national progress.

‘In the English education system, Bangladeshi students are among the highest achievers in all key measures‘

Charlie Guthrie - NPF Education Advisor

'Our mission is driven by a powerful sense of unfinished business: a vision and a dream that started in 1848 to unlock the full potential in young people.’
Muhammed Aziz-Ur Rahman - CEO
